SOLAGOCHI docs
The complete rules of the pet, the playground and the practice draw, with every number the game uses. If something here and the game disagree, the game is wrong and should be fixed.
Overview
SOLAGOCHI is a virtual pet game with a community token, $SOLAGOCHI, on Solana. You hatch one small pixel pet and look after it through the day. Its needs fall in real time; your care brings them back. Look after it well and long enough, and it grows through six stages.
This build is a practice build. The pet, the playground and the draw run in your browser. No tokens move, nothing is bought, and nothing is won except cosmetic badges. It is a game and entertainment, not an investment.
Quick start
- Open the hatchery and roll three eggs (random, or seeded by your wallet address).
- Keep one egg and give it a name. The other two are let go.
- In the nursery, tap the egg to hatch it.
- Check in a few times a day: feed it, clean up, play, and put it to bed when it is tired.
- Play a round in the playground when its joy is low.
- Look at the draw after each 8-hour session to see whether your ticket matched.
Care and needs
A pet has four needs from 0 to 100. They keep changing while the page is closed: the game works out the time that passed the next time you open it.
| Need | Awake, per hour | Asleep, per hour | Restored by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Food | −5 | −2.5 | Snacks |
| Joy | −4 (−2 more with a mess) | −1 | Play, playground, petting, treats |
| Clean | −2.5 (−3 more per mess) | same | Clean |
| Energy | −4 | +14 | Sleep |
Every 4 hours awake the pet leaves a small mess, up to 3 at once. A sleeping pet wakes up by itself when its energy is full. Playing needs at least 15 energy.
Care points are earned only when an action answers a real need: food under 60, joy under 60 (70 for the playground), clean under 60 or a mess on the floor, energy under 40 at bedtime, joy under 50 when petted. The full list is on the growth page.
A pet never dies and never runs away. With two needs under 20 it sulks, and a little care brings it round.
Snacks
| Snack | Food | Joy | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Berry bowl | +18 | +4 | Light and quick. |
| Rice ball | +30 | +2 | The everyday meal. |
| Fish bun | +38 | +6 | Filling. Best when it is very hungry. |
| Carrot sticks | +22 | +0 | Crunchy, a little boring. |
| Sun cake | +8 | +22 | A treat. Two per session, then it gets a tummy ache. |
| Warm milk | +10 | +6 | Helps it fall asleep. |
Treats are limited to 2 per 8-hour session and never earn care points. A pet with food at 96 or more refuses regular meals. Snacks are free and unlimited in this build; they are generic food, not assets of any kind.
Growth stages
A stage is reached when both conditions hold: enough care points and enough age since hatching.
- Egg — before hatching. Warm and wobbling. Tap it and it hatches.
- Sprout — on hatching. Tiny, loud and always hungry.
- Kid — 25 care points and 1 days old. Learns its first tricks and starts to play on its own.
- Teen — 80 care points and 3 days old. Moody, curious, and much bigger than last week.
- Adult — 180 care points and 7 days old. Steady needs, a full crest and a favourite snack.
- Elder — 360 care points and 14 days old. Slow, wise and very proud of you.
Stages never go backwards. Looks (body, hat, eyes, aura) are rolled at the egg and stay with the pet.
Draw rules
Practice mode: no real prizes in this build. The draw exists to show how a fair, checkable draw works. It has no prize pool, no entry fee and no token involved.
- Sessions: Dawn from 00:00 UTC, Noon from 08:00 UTC, Dusk from 16:00 UTC, each 8 hours. Session ids look like
2026-10-19-S1. - Who takes part: a pet that received at least one care action that earned points during the session. One ticket per pet per session; there is no way to buy more.
- Ticket number: FNV-1a of
ticket:<pet seed>:<session id>, modulo 100. - Closing block: the first Solana block whose block time is at or after the session close. It is found by the site's server with standard RPC calls and shown with a link to the explorer.
- Winning number: SHA-256 of
solagochi-draw:<session id>:<closing blockhash>, first four bytes as an unsigned integer, modulo 100. Your browser recomputes it and says whether it matches. - Odds: 1 in 100 per ticket per session.
- What a match gives: a lucky-number badge saved in your browser. Nothing else.
A draw with real prizes would need a published prize source (who funds it and how much), legal review for each place it runs in, a statement of odds, and ad-platform checks. None of that exists, so none of it is offered.
$SOLAGOCHI token
$SOLAGOCHI is the community token of SOLAGOCHI on Solana. It has not launched yet; the contract address will appear on the token page, in the header and in the footer at launch, and nowhere else.
In this build the token is not used by the game at all. Planned uses (a fixed hatch price, cosmetic wardrobe items) are written on the home page and will be confirmed before they apply. What is ruled out stays ruled out: no payouts from later players to earlier ones, no promised returns, no pay-to-win.
Wallet and data
Your pet, badges and best score are stored in your browser's local storage. There is no account and no server copy. Clearing site data starts over.
Connecting a wallet is optional. It uses the standard Solana wallet adapter, shows your SOL balance (and $SOLAGOCHI after launch) through a read-only relay, and can seed the hatchery. The site never asks your wallet to sign a message or a transaction.
Live numbers (SOL price, slot, transactions per second, closing blocks) come from public sources: a Solana RPC node, OKX and CoinGecko for price, and Dexscreener for the token market after launch.
FAQ
What is SOLAGOCHI?
SOLAGOCHI is a virtual pet game with its own community token, $SOLAGOCHI, on Solana. You hatch a small pixel pet and look after it: food, play, cleaning and sleep. Care that arrives when the pet actually needs it earns care points, and care points plus age move the pet through six growth stages. It is a game and entertainment, not an investment.
How does SOLAGOCHI work?
Your pet has four needs (food, joy, clean, energy) that slowly drop in real time, even while the tab is closed. You answer them with care actions. Timing matters more than tapping: an action only counts as care when the need was low. The pet never dies; a neglected pet sulks until you come back. Every 8 hours a practice draw runs from a public Solana blockhash, and pets that were cared for during that session hold one ticket.
How do I buy $SOLAGOCHI?
$SOLAGOCHI is not live yet, so there is nothing to buy today and no contract address to copy. When it launches, the address will appear in the header, the footer and on the token page, and that is the only address to trust. The usual route on Solana: install a wallet such as Phantom or Solflare, add SOL, then swap SOL for $SOLAGOCHI on the launch venue linked from the token page. The game itself does not require the token in this build.
Which network is SOLAGOCHI on?
Solana mainnet. The site reads live Solana data (SOL price, slot, transactions per second, recent blockhashes) and, once the token launches, the $SOLAGOCHI mint itself. Wallets connect through the standard Solana wallet adapter, and the site never asks a wallet to sign or send.
Is SOLAGOCHI audited?
No. There is no smart contract or on-chain program to audit in this build: the pet, the playground and the draw all run in your browser, and no tokens move. If a program is ever added, it would need an independent audit before anyone is asked to use it, and the report would be linked here.
Can I win real prizes in the draw?
Not in this build. The draw is a practice round with written rules and a result anyone can recompute. A match earns a cosmetic badge kept in your browser. A real prize draw would need a published prize source, legal review in the places it runs, and clear odds before it could open.
Do early players earn from people who join later?
No, and that is a deliberate choice. Nothing in SOLAGOCHI pays one player out of another player's entry. A pet earns care points by being looked after, not by who arrived first.
Where is my pet stored?
In this browser, in local storage. It does not need an account, an email or a wallet. Clearing site data or switching device starts a new egg. Connecting a wallet is optional; it can be used as the seed so the same wallet always rolls the same look.
